Description

About FlinVEE:
FlinVEE builds end-to-end intercom and access-control solutions — for apartments, homes, factories and other properties. We design, build, and deliver both hardware-integrated and cloud/software components to support reliable, secure, and user-friendly intercom systems. As we scale and expand our technology offering, we’re looking for motivated early-career Software Engineers to join our team and help build the future of access & communication solutions.

Role Overview
As an entry-level Software Engineer at FlinVEE, you’ll work closely with senior engineers and product teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software components — including backend APIs, user-facing applications, and integrations with hardware. You’ll get exposure across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to real-world projects that directly support our intercom solutions. This is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build meaningful products in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

What You’ll Do — Key Responsibilities
1. Learn and understand our existing codebase, architecture, and product requirements.
2. Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code (backend services, frontend components, APIs, or integrations as needed).
3. Help debug and fix bugs, address issues, and support quality assurance and testing efforts.
4. Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and possibly hardware/integration teams to implement features and deliver end-to-end solutions.
5. Participate in design reviews, contribute ideas, and continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
6. Document your work appropriately and help maintain internal documentation, tests, and standards.

What We’re Looking For — Basic Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
2. Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or others relevant to our stack).
3. Basic understanding of software development fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
4. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow — since you’ll often be working under guidance and mentorship.
5. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to take on tasks such as bug fixes, testing, and incremental feature development.

Nice-to-Haves (but not mandatory)
1. Familiarity with building RESTful APIs, working with databases, or experience in web frontend (HTML/CSS/JS) or backend services.
2. Exposure to development workflows (version control, code reviews, testing frameworks).
3. Interest or background in embedded systems, IoT, or hardware-software integration (especially useful given FlinVEE’s intercom/hardware focus).
4. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements and product scope.

What We Offer / What the Candidate Gains
1. A chance to work on real, tangible products that combine hardware and software — giving broad exposure and hands-on experience.
2. Mentorship from experienced engineers and opportunities to learn on the job.
3. A collaborative, growth-oriented environment where new ideas and initiative are valued.
4. The opportunity to contribute meaningfully to building and evolving our intercom solution, from early development through deployment and maintenance.
